Tournament Setup

Organize a tournament in your school! Using this tracking sheet, you can give students a fair ranking compared to other players, even without having everyone play everyone!

Make a copy of the spreadsheet below to track results. This spreadsheet uses a formula that allows you to rank players, even if they're playing in a casual, unstructured format.

Float Timer

A fun challenge for students is to see how long they can keep a ball floating in the air!

  • Hit the ball with backspin (slice), and record the time from contact to floor.
  • Have someone hold a bar that they need to go under to prevent them from trying to hit it straight up in the air. (Optional)
  • Use this handy Web Timer. It features a giant start/stop button - easier to hit while watching for ball contacts.
